Like with most companies or businesses, becoming a successful network marketer requires organization. An organization generally cannot operate with just one person running the business. They will need a team. Network marketing is no different. If you want to make money in network marketing, you will need teamwork. If you are a sole owner of your online business, your product/service movement would be rather small, but with teamwork, you have other people helping you move the product or service and the more they move, the more they make and you will be receiving an indirect compensation from your team. When you build your network marketing organization, you will share the benefits of not just the product or service you are selling, you will also be offering business opportunities to others. In network marketing speak, that is referred to as your downline.

The more people you have that are willing to put in a few hours a week or more to help you move your product or service and who will share in the profits, the more money everyone will make. By using your team, people (and future customers) will become aware of what you are selling and targeting leads by interested people on the Internet, you will be able to expand quicker than you would doing it yourself and you may be able to distribute your products/services through another Web sites to increase sales and reduce costs. One of the first things you will need to do to help build your downline is to share with other people what you want to sell and inform them of the product or service. Let them know you are offering them a business opportunity they can do at home. Don’t try to convince others to come and join you, they should want to join you and you can do this by letting them know you are there to help them. Let your potential downline people know that the product/service you are selling is something people will need or want, even if they don’t know it yet.

They may become interested and they will tell their friends who will tell their friends and so on. You should be careful however and allow only those who are interested and are willing to put in a little effort. Be honest and let them know money won’t be rolling in overnight; it will take time and dedication. It can take months and it takes teamwork. To build a good downline, you must first have a product/service that you believe in and the sponsors of the product or service must keep you informed, offer training or help and will be there for you if there are any questions. Once you have found a product/service that you are truly committed to, make sure you learn everything you can about the product/service and invest in a book, CD’s, go to seminars or listen to podcasts on network marketing procedures.

There are a lot of network marketing pros out there who have been network marketers for a number of years and are willing to share their knowledge. Communicate with your team as often as possible and educate them on network marketing techniques by pointing to Web sites or podcasts or techniques that you may have learned at a seminar. Remember, to be a successful network marketer, you need a great product/service, dedication and a lot of teamwork.
