Website Optimization: More Keyword Research Tools

One requirement is to choose those keywords which are frequently searched for and which are in high demand, but not being already used by many other websites and competitors, and thus have low competition. There are a strong number of keyword research tools that can assist you in finding them.

Apart from the Wordtracker which was already discussed in another article, we have some more equally important research tools such as Overture, Google AdWords Keyword and Guidebeam.

Overture’s keyword suggestion tool is free and a lot quicker to use than Wordtracker. It functions more like the Wordtracker but doesn’t tell you how many websites are targeting each keyword phrase. For instance if you type ‘Computer’, the Overture search suggestion tool will tell you that during the past month the word ‘Computer’ was searched, say for example 459550 times at Overture.Com. Similarly ‘computer game’ was searched 302210 times. Also, given one word, it will tell you all relevant combinations of that word, which are based on actual searches carried out by people. If the word you keyed in is not a common search term then you will not get any good results. It means that very few people have actually searched for that word during the past month.

Even Google Keyword Tool tend to generate potential keywords for your ad campaign and report their Google statistics, including search performance and seasonal trends. Features of this tool tend to include,

• Sorting out the results of your desired keyword search by popularity, past performance history within the AdWords system, cost, and predicted ad position.
• Easy keyword manipulation where you can select a few keywords here and there or add them all at once.
• Searches for keywords which are present even in any webpage URL specified by your search. It can also expand your keyword search even further to include those pages which are linked to or from the original URL page.
• More keyword results will be generated based on regularly updated usage statistics database. This will assist you towards obtaining new keywords or phrases.

Guidebeam is also an interesting resource. Try to type in a phrase and it will suggest a large number of related searches. The numbers generated against each phrase are Guidebeam’s estimation of how relevant that phrase is.

These softwares can be quite useful for researching how people search the web and then optimizing your own web pages so that more people find your web site.

Google Adsense – The Easiest Money You Can Make Online?

For the last couple of months, Google Adsense has dominated forums, discussions and newsletters all over the Internet. Already, there are many tales of fabulous riches to be made and millions made by those who are running a work-at-home business. It seems that Google Adsense have already dominated the internet marketing business and is now considered the easiest and most profitable means towards making money online.

The key to success with Adsense is through placing ads on pages which are receiving high traffic for highly demanded keywords. The higher the cost-per-click to the advertiser is, then the more you will receive per click from your site. Quite obviously, it won’t pay to target low cost-per-click keywords and place them on pages that don’t receive hits.

With all the people who get online and click away everyday, it isn’t any wonder why Google Adsense has become an instant and most popular hit.

For some people who are very new to this market, it would be a great blow to their pride to know that their homepage is buried somewhere in the little ads which promote other people’s services. But then again, when they get the idea that they are actually earning more money that way, all doubts and skepticism are laid to rest.

There are two major, and clever, factors that some very successful webmasters and publishers are learning to blend together in order to make money easier by using Adsense.

1. Targeting high traffic pages on your website. If you check on your logs, you will discover that many of your visitors are taking advantage of the free affiliate marketing resources and ebooks that you are providing for them on your site. In more simple words, your ads will be working effectively and will be generating more clicks. It also implies more money for you.

2. Placing Adsense links on pages which are producing little, or better yet, no profit. By placing Adsense on a free resources page, you will reduce the amount of potential customers being lost to other sites. Tricky, but it is effective nevertheless.

When learned how to work effectively, these two factors are actually a good source of producing a minimal amount of revenue from a high traffic page. Several people are using this strategy in order to pick up some extra cash with Adsense. This is also especially rewarding to some informational sites that like to focus their efforts on delivering powerful affiliate link free content to their visitors. Now they can gain a monetary return on their services.

With the very many techniques that people are now learning on how to make the easiest money by their Adsense, it isn’t surprising that Google is trying everything to update and polish their Adsense in order to maintain their very good image.

The possibility of adding a 2nd tier in Adsense isn’t impossible. With all the people spending more time in their Adsense now and still more getting into this line of marketing, there is absolutely no doubt about the many new improvements yet to be made. Try to imagine the smiles on the faces of the webmasters and publishers all around the world if ever they sign up for sub-affiliates and double or even triple the amount that they are already earning.

The one particularly handy money-making feature that is available with Adsense now is the possibility to filter out up to 200 urls. These give webmasters the option to block out low value offers from their pages as well as competitors to their websites. Talk about taking only those that are advantageous and discarding the ones that seem “useless” to you.

With Google Adsense, the possibilities are indeed quite limitless. Yet, there is also the possibility of someone taking advantage of the easy money process that this internet marketing is doing. If you think a little bit more about it, these negative factors might force Google to break down and thrash Adsense in the process. If that occurs, people would have to go back to the old ways of internet marketing that does not make money online as easy as with Adsense.

Right now however, Google Adsense is definitely here to stay. As long as there are people wanting to earn some easy cash online through just using their talents, the future ahead is looking quite good. Besides, with all the very strict guidelines that Google is enforcing over Adsense, it will take a while for the Adsense privileges to be spammed and even ended.
